DESCRIPTION:Aangejaagd door maatschappelijke transities en technologische ontwikkelingen als Artificial Intelligence\, robotisering en Augmented Reality staan we aan de vooravond van een (r)evolutie naar een nieuwe samenleving: Society 5.0. Wat betekenen deze ontwikkelingen voor onze medewerkers\, studenten\, de creatieve sector en maatschappij als geheel? \nOp 31 oktober en 1 november tijdens Society 5.0 Festival komt de creatieve industrie bij elkaar in TheSocialHub Amsterdam City om het antwoord op deze vraag te verkennen. Verwacht masterclasses\, workshops\, interactieve (kunst)installaties\, performances en meer! Voertaal is Engels. RAAIT projectleider Geert Wissink is een van de curatoren van de track ‘Generatieve AI & Storytelling’. \nVanuit het RAAIT programma verzorgen we verschillende onderdelen. Het boundary object ‘Who pulls on the strings of AI’ van onderzoeker Tiwánee van der Horst wordt getoond en Tiwánee zal ook in een gesprek over ‘Make AI Tangible’ meer uitleg geven waarom dit soort objecten nodig zijn voor een beter begrip van systemen achter AI. DESCRIPTION:It is expected that within the next few years 95% of media content with be fully or partially synthetic\, produced with generative AI. What does it mean when media no longer represent but generate reality? Is there such a thing as Synthetic Truth? How do we retain a shared reality when everyone can instantly generate their own version? \nGenerative tools like ChatGPT\, Midjourney and Stable Diffusion enable not only professional creators to push creative boundaries\, but also “those formerly known as the audience. In Public Pioneers #3\, we therefore focus on the creative triangle between professional media creators\, public AI pioneers and Generative AI tools as a third entity. Together we explore how generative AI can be used to tell new stories\, and get a better grip on creative uses of synthetic media.
